At Enersys, we manage the entire certification lifecycle—whether for LEED, MOSTADAM, or other global standards—ensuring that sustainability is “baked into” the project rather than added as an afterthought.

1. Pre-Design & Feasibility

We begin by defining the project’s sustainability goals. This includes a LEED Feasibility Study to determine the target certification level (Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum) and identifying the most cost-effective credits to pursue based on the project’s unique site and scope.

2. Sustainable Design Integration

During the design phase, our consultants work alongside architects and engineers to integrate high-performance solutions. We provide guidance on:

• Energy Modeling: Predicting building performance to optimize the envelope and HVAC systems.
• Material Selection: Sourcing low-impact, sustainable materials that meet certification requirements.
• Water & Site Management: Designing for efficiency and reduced environmental footprint.

3. Construction Documentation & Oversight

As the project moves to the site, Enersys manages the rigorous documentation process. We ensure the contractor adheres to the Construction Waste Management plan, maintains indoor air quality during construction, and tracks all sustainable material procurement to prevent credit loss.

4. Technical Commissioning (CxA)

This is where design meets reality. As your Commissioning Agent (CxA), we perform Functional Performance Testing (FPT) on critical systems—BMS, Lighting Controls, HVAC, and Power Systems. We verify that everything is installed and operating according to the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and the Basis of Design (BOD).

5. Final Certification & Handover

In the final stage, we compile and submit the full documentation package to the certifying body (such as the USGBC). We handle all technical reviews and clarifications, ensuring a smooth path to the final plaque. Our process concludes with Systems Manuals and operator training to ensure the building stays “green” long after we leave.
